Raíces Cultural Center's EcoCulture Program presents a discussion on sustainable solutions to disaster relief. During natural and ecological disasters, well-meaning relief efforts can often compound environmental and ecological issues in a community. Learn about on-the-ground sustainable grassroots recovery and rebuilding efforts and discuss how you can contribute to disaster relief aid in a sustainable way to have a longer lasting and less harmful impact over time. Donations will be collected to help provide solar lights, water filters and seeds to grassroots rebuilding efforts in Puerto Rico.
